Why can't I log into my account?
If you have been able to log in before, you should be able to log in using the email address and password you gave us. If you have tried clicking the 'forgotten your details?' link on the logging in page and cannot reset your password, please contact out customer services team on 0870 166 6667.
If you have registered over the phone, and this is your first time using the website, you need to log in using your ten digit customer number – which will be on any despatch note or on your Welcome Email. Once you have entered that, and the four digit security number which you would have set up over the phone, you should be able to access your account, and then you may set up a password so you can use your email address to log in the next time. We recommend you do this so that logging in is easier in future.
If you try logging in too many times with the incorrect details, we may 'block' your account. You can unblock this by following the 'forgotten details' link and answering your security questions to re-set your account.

Do I have to register on each of your three websites separately?
You only have to register once, your email address and password will log you into
bid tv,
price-drop tv and
speed auction tv.
What does the 'card reference' field mean in the registration process?
The "card reference" field gives you the opportunity to give your card a name for your own convenience. This could be anything that helps you remember which card is registered e.g. John's Visa.
Do you accept American Express cards to pay for products?
We only accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo debit and credit cards.
Is it essential that the billing address and the delivery address are the same?
For security reasons the billing address must match the delivery address.
How do I change my personal details such as my surname, address, email address, telephone number and card details?
If you need to update any of your details such as address, telephone number or credit cared details after you have registered click "My Account".
Once you are in "My Account" scroll down to the information you wish to update and click the appropriate edit button.
Enter your new details and click the update button. You will then be taken back to the "My Account" page.
If you have edited your password, email address, security number or security question you will be sent an email which contains a link. You must verify your changes by clicking on this link then answering a security question.
You will then be sent an email confirming your details have been updated.

How can you tell the difference between a TV and a web auction?
TV deals and Web clearance products are clearly marked in our product listings with a graphic informing you which type of auction it is.
How is the bidding process different on TV auctions to web auctions?
When a TV product is being sold live on TV you can buy it instantly through the website. If the TV product you are interested in has yet to go on air you can enter a bid in advance on the website. Simply enter the maximum you wish to pay for that product and if the price falls to your bid amount or lower you'll get the item.
You can bid on or buy a web clearance deal at anytime, there are no restrictions.
What is the difference between the bidder's board and buyer's board?
After you have completed the bidding/buying process you can return to the auction to see if your name appears on the bidder's or buyer's board. If you have entered a bid via the text input field your name will appear on the bidder's board. If the price falls to that amount you will become a buyer. However you are not guaranteed the product until the price falls to your bid amount.
Only customers who have selected the "Buy now" option will have secured their purchase. Clicking the "Buy now" button will place you onto the buyer's board immediately, guaranteeing you the product.
How do Megadrops work on the website?
Occasionally we run special promotions, the Megadrop is one of these. On random products we drop the price all the way to a pound! All those with valid bids pay just £1 for the product.
If you place a bid, and the 'now at' price on the TV graphics at the time of the Megadrop announcement is BELOW the value of your bid, your bid is valid and will be included in the auction. However, if the 'now at' price at the time of the Megadrop announcement is ABOVE the value of your pre-bid, the pre-bid will become null and void and will not be included in the auction. This is to ensure everyone has a fair chance of winning.

Can I buy more than 1 unit of a product?
The way our pricing model works we can only offer the customer 1 unit of a product per auction. With everyone paying the lowest final price, we can assure our customers a fair and great value deal every time.
How many times can I bid for a product?
You can enter a bid for a product as many times as you like. However you only need to select the "Buy now" option once to secure your purchase. You will pay the closing amount so even if you clicked "Buy now" at £15, if the price continues to fall and the auction closes at £10 you'll only pay £10.
Could I accidentally buy more than one product in an auction?
You can only ever buy one product per auction, our system does not allow more than one unit to be sold to the same customer.
How do I know how much an auction closed for?
Clicking on the "Previous Auctions" link in the left hand menu will give you the option of navigating through the product categories to find the auction you are looking for. When you find it in the product listings, click on it and you will be presented with a page stating the final closing price and a list of all the successful buyers.
How can I find out when a certain item will be put for auction again?
All products available on the website can be found by either typing the product name into the search bar located at the top of the homepage or by browsing our product categories.
How do I know my bid has been accepted and if I will get the product?
After you have confirmed your bid you will be presented with a "Thank you" page which will inform you that you've successfully purchased the product or if you need to keep watching that auction in case you need to increase your bid.
If I'm presented with an error page what should I do?
Due to some periods of high demand our sites experience technical difficulties. If you witness this please be patient and try again at a later date. If you experience technical difficulties while trying to place a bid, unless you are presented with the "thank you page" your bid will not have been successful so please try again later.
Delivery and refunds
Can I get a product delivered to another address?
Whilst we are unable to provide this service online, you can call our Customer Services team on 0870 166 6667 if you'd like an item delivered to an alternative address. We recommend you do this as soon as possible after you receive confirmation of your order. Please advise the Customer Services Representative of your order reference number, and your preferred alternative shipping address.
Please note - we cannot guarantee we will be able to change the address but we will try to help. Alternatively, you could order via the phone and advise the Customer Services Representative as soon as they call back to confirm your order.
